Corral de Tierra collects only what you choose to send us through this website. This notice explains what that is, how we use it and the choices you have.

What we collect

• Updates sign-up: your email address.
• Letters of support: your name, email address, your connection to Half Moon Bay and your letter.
• Visits: like any website, our host's servers receive basic technical details when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type, so they can deliver the pages and keep the site secure.

How we use it

• We use your email address to send news about Corral de Tierra, and we may reply to what you send us. You can ask us to stop at any time.
• When you check the box on the letter form, we pass your letter and name along to the City of Half Moon Bay. Letters the City receives can become public records. We don't share your email address with the City.
• We don't sell your information or share it for advertising.

Who else receives it

• Hostinger, our website host, receives form submissions, keeps a copy on our server and delivers them to our inbox.
• Google Fonts provides the site's typefaces. Your browser requests them from Google, which receives your IP address to deliver them.
• The City of Half Moon Bay receives the letters you ask us to share.
• We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Cookies and tracking

This site doesn't use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers, and no other company collects information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites. The only thing the site saves in your browser is a note that you closed the privacy notice, so it doesn't appear again.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because the site doesn't track visitors, there is nothing for these browser signals to turn off. If we ever add analytics, we'll treat a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal as a choice to opt out.

How long we keep it

We keep submissions only as long as we need them for the purposes above, and we delete them sooner if you ask.

Your choices and California privacy rights

You can ask to see the information we have about you, to correct it or to delete it, and you can stop receiving updates at any time. California residents can also ask what personal information we have collected about them, where it came from and how we have used it. We won't treat you differently for making a request. To make one, email info@corraldetierrahmb.com. We'll confirm we received it and respond within 45 days.

Children

This site is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.

Security

The site uses a secure (https) connection, and form submissions are kept in our host's access-controlled systems.

Changes to this notice

If we change this notice, we'll post the new version on this page with a new effective date.
